Welcome to the website of the East Suffolk Morris men, based around Ipswich, Suffolk, UK.
We dance throughout the year in the UK and abroad but mostly throughout east Suffolk and mainly at country pubs! We also dance at village fairs and fetes and at other rural celebrations and we sing and play traditional music and songs. Please come along and enjoy our dance and music.
Our Morris side was formed in 1958 and we enjoy keeping this rich tradition alive and sharing it with people of east Suffolk and beyond.
We welcome new members of any age and encourage anyone who is interested in joining and learning to contact us.
In the winter we practice on a Monday at Gosbeck village hall and in the summer dance out roughly once a week, as well as events such as St George's Day and May Day.
